What is life drawing?
Life drawing is the practice of studying the human form through direct observation of a live model. It cultivates precision in anatomy, proportion, and gesture, while deepening an artist’s sensitivity to movement and expression.
Sessions can range from rapid gesture sketches that capture energy and flow, to extended pose studies and focused portrait sessions that explore detail and nuance.
Long regarded as a cornerstone of artistic training, life drawing remains an essential discipline for both emerging and established artists.
